Publication Charges

The Eurasian Journal of Soil Science (EJSS) is a fully open-access, non-profit journal. Authors are not charged at any stage of the publication process.

EJSS does not charge:

• submission fees,
• article processing charges (APCs),
• peer review or editorial processing fees,
• page charges,
• colour figure charges,
• fees for supplementary material.

There are no hidden charges. Should this policy ever change, the change will be announced on the journal website in advance and will not apply to manuscripts already submitted.

Funding of the Journal

The operating costs of EJSS are covered by the Federation of Eurasian Soil Science Societies (FESSS), the publisher of the journal. The online submission, peer review and publication infrastructure is provided through DergiPark, operated by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM. Editors, Editorial Board members and reviewers contribute on a voluntary basis.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are independent of the authors’ ability to pay, institutional resources, nationality or funding status. EJSS does not offer paid fast-track review or publication.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) and are freely available to readers immediately upon publication.
